30 Plant-Based Hashtags to Grow On

Are you an herbivore food producer or blogger? There’s a growing desire for your products and recipes, the trick is finding the people who are searching. Hashtags are a great way for you to find your tribe on social media so if you aren’t using them yet, it’s time to start!

Your hashtag strategy should be to use one or two very popular hashtags and then a couple of less popular hashtags in each post. Don’t forget to hashtag some of the key ingredients featured in your post.

blodekuhla

Take for example this post by Blode Kuh @blodekuhla for their aged black garlic and black ash cashew cheese. They used both vegan hashtags as well as the specific #blackgarlic ingredient. It’s also a great idea to hop on diet tends like #ketofriendly and #paleofriendly.

Use between 4 and 10 hashtags on each post and switch up the hashtags often. If you use the same ones over and over again, Instagram notices and will show your post less under those “overused” hashtags, instead favoring posts by other users that switch it up. The one exception to this rule of course is a hashtag that is only yours like one that includes your brand name.

As promised here’s a list of 30 hashtags to keep you in the green!
